When
Cheer will perform at MYF home games. We do not travel to away games. All games on Saturdays from September 6th-Mid October depending on playoffs. Game times are TBD based on football league schedule. Games range from 9am-7pm on Saturdays. The League schedule will not be available until late August.

12 item Fundraiser selling obligation or $180 buyout fees include 2 practice shirts for you to keep, bow for you to keep, new set of poms for you to keep, uniform rental, camp fee, music licensing, registration, insurance etc.

New members are responsible for buying their personal items through the Burghardt link which will open at a later date and be posted in Band.

Tumbling- Elite Tumbling Factory New Berlin
Gameday & Competition- If you do not have a back handspring, tumbling will be required. preferred if athletes continue with this to gain more advanced skills, but not required.
Compeition- Strongly preferred for all members, required for those who do not have a back handspring
Sign up by July 1st - classes will run in conjunction with the season
Attendance Policy
Cheerleading is a team sport, therefore it is crucial that everyone attends practices and games.
Excused absences are pre-planned family trips, illnesses, unforseeable events etc. These need to be communicated with the coaches before July 1st in order for it to be counted as excused.
An unexcused absence will result in your cheerleader not participating in half time the following game
This includes but is not limited to.. other sport games/ practices, birthday parties, packer parties, not having a ride etc.
Not participating in half time does not mean you get to skip the game, you will still come to practice and the game to cheer and support your team, but will not participate in the performance.
Other Attendance Notes
Cheerleaders will arrive on time to each practice in the designated practice attire.
Two instances of not having the correct outfit on will count as an unexcused absemce and removal from the halftime performance. Practice attire will be posted on the band using the 'event' feature once determined. Outfits repeat each week.
It is expected that cheerleaders will be picked up on time, no later than 10 minutes after the scheduled end time.
Expectations
Cheerleaders will come to practices and games with a positive attitude, willingness to try new things, and work with new people.
During practices and games, all phones and personal items will be put away and water bottles will move with the girls. Nothing should be left behind for coaches to clean up.
We work closely with the high school coaches throughout our season. In order to grow a successful program, attendance, attitude and other observations of coaches is shared with the high school coaching team and is taken into account during their tryouts.
